TECALEMIT, the UK supplier of vehicle servicing equipment, has taken delivery of 28 Nissan vans.
The vehicles have been supplied by Nissan LCV at Truck and Bus Wales West and are ready to work across the country.
Adding to the current Tecalemit fleet of 18 vans, 13 NV200 SEs have joined the fleet with Tecalemit citing the low CO2 emissions, long intervals between refuelling and a rear view camera as key influencing factors in their purchase decision. The NV200 SEs will be used by transport engineers who manage calibration and general repair work.
Fifteen Primastars were also purchased based on their spacious load area and driver comfort. The Primastars will be driven by the nationwide network of service engineers who maintain and install garage equipment.
The vehicles have been liveried and ply lined and supplied with internal CVC & Gentili racking to keep tools and equipment secure during transit. Tecalemit will run the vehicles for up to 90,000 miles across the UK over the next three years.
Tecalemit’s managing director James Devonport said: ‘We’re delighted to take delivery of these Nissan vans. The dealer has been very helpful and supportive and both the NV200 and Primastar are well suited to our needs. As a big manufacturer and established brand, we’re confident of support from Nissan and look forward to a strong relationship.’
Wales and West truck and bus sales manager Graeme Mellis said: ‘The Nissan dealer network is developing as we continue to support LCVs and providing 28 vans to Tecalemit is testament to this.
‘The NV200 and Primastar are strong LCVs and they will provide reliable transport for Tecalemit as they deliver leading vehicle servicing equipment up and down the UK.’
