A member of staff at a Nissan dealership in South Wales has been named the top-performing colleague in the manufacturer’s entire UK dealer network for 2024.
Joe Davies, who works in the sales department at Wessex Garages Nissan Cardiff, has been named Dealer Ambassador of the Year by Nissan Motor GB Ltd. His overall triumph comes after he was named one of 12 Nissan Dealer Ambassadors of the Quarter during the year 2023-24.
Although Joe has only worked at the Hadfield Road dealership for 12 months, he has developed a genuine passion for the cars in the Nissan line-up, and has become an expert in the innovative technology that helps make them so popular with customers.
Whether he is demonstrating ProPILOT Assist, discussing the characteristics of e-POWER, or explaining the benefits of NissanConnect, he goes above and beyond to ensure all customers have a comprehensive understanding and appreciation of Nissan’s award-winning products.
A Nissan spokesperson said: ‘‘What sets Joe apart is not just his product knowledge, but his unwavering commitment to customer service.
‘‘And Joe’s passion extends beyond the showroom to the local community. Earlier this year, he raised a significant sum of money for Cardiff’s City Hospice by completing a nerve-racking 200ft abseil.

Thrilling race
In his spare time, Joe is a huge Formula E fan and attended the recent season finale in London where he watched Nissan’s Oliver Rowland win the thrilling final race of the 2023-24 championship.
