Three Nissan dealership employees are enjoying some well-deserved time in the limelight after being named Dealer Ambassadors of the Month for January 2021.
The regular award, which is open to everyone working in Nissan’s UK retail network, recognises the outstanding commitment staff members show towards customers and colleagues.
The scheme is designed to celebrate best practice and exceptional individual performance, and as well as receiving official recognition, each winner is awarded 350 N-GAGE points.
For January, the following three people were nominated:
- Lee Doran, a sales consultant at Portsmouth Nissan in Waterlooville, Hampshire. The dealership is part of Yeomans Group.
- Aaron Worrall, new car sales manager at Holdcroft Nissan, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
- Levi Montague, a parts advisor at Chorley Nissan Wigan.
All three should be very proud of their achievements in going above and beyond the call of duty to assist customers and colleagues.
Lee Doran’s nomination came after a satisfied customer emailed the dealership where he works. The customer explained that they suffered from anxiety and felt wary around other people.
The message continued: ‘‘Lee was absolutely wonderful, making me feel safe whilst at the showroom, and keeping me updated about my vehicle via email at all times. I know I can be hard work – but I wanted to express my thanks and gratitude.’’
Aaron Worrall won praise for his efforts in helping his dealership communicate with its customers during the repeated lockdowns of the past 12 months.
Superb videos
The nomination from a senior colleague read: ‘‘He has been extremely creative in his marketing with superb customer videos and has created an app that we utilise to help communicate with our customers during these difficult times – it has helped us close a large number of sold cars.
‘‘A lot of his work is now being recognised by the group and I therefore feel he deserves a mention and if possible a reward for his hard work.’’
Levi Montague at Chorley Nissan Wigan won praise after helping restore a caller’s faith in humanity.
The Nissan owner was having a lot of trouble getting hold of a part while her car was being repaired by a garage in Leigh, about eight miles away.
After contacting Levi, her worries were over as he liaised with the garage and arranged the timely delivery of the necessary part. The grateful customer said: ‘‘That’s above and beyond what I expected anyone to do and I can hand on heart say, it restored my faith in people.”
The Dealer Ambassador of the Month Awards continue throughout 2021, where senior staff are invited to nominate high-achieving team members through the Dealer Ambassador of the Month portal via N-GAGE.
