STAFF at a Nissan dealer group took time out to sell cakes as well as cars as they raised hundreds of pounds for a cancer charity.
All five Ancaster Nissan dealerships in Penge, Eltham, Slough, South Croydon and Bromley took part in the recent Macmillan Coffee Morning, with staff bringing in treats to sell to each other and the public.
They raised a total of £540 across the five Nissan sites, with the Ancaster Group as a whole raising £1,532 after the company kindly matched donations pound for pound.
The cash will go towards Macmillan Cancer Support’s services. So far, nationally, the Macmillan Coffee Morning event has raised more than £867,000.
Meanwhile, WLMG Shepperton also held a Macmillan Coffee Morning with staff raising a staggering £130.50.
