ANCASTER Group, which has six Nissan dealerships across South London and the Home Counties, has opened a dedicated Trade Parts and Vehicle Preparation Centre in Croydon.
The new site, on Imperial Way, has office space and a large workshop to take care of vehicle preparation and pre delivery inspections — freeing up much needed space at Ancaster’s dealerships.
The building will also house the group’s extensive trade parts business.
Its fleet of parts delivery vans will also make Imperial Way their home, meaning dealerships will benefit from more parking space as well as less congestion around the sites.
The centre is staffed by experienced employees who have transferred from their previous dealerships — and this in turn has created new job opportunities for 13 roles within the company.
Stephen Wood, Managing Director at Ancaster Group, said: “With more than 500 new and used cars in stock at any one time, this new development will greatly enhance our customers’ experience when visiting the dealerships.
“It will ensure our company promise of quality and value is always met, now that we have additional space and resource to prepare customer vehicles at a dedicated location before delivering them to our dealerships.”
