NISSAN’S exciting partnership with Team GB and ParalympicsGB helped a trio of dealers successfully shine the spotlight on the eagerly anticipated new Pulsar during their weekend launch events.
All three dealers – Town and Country in Cornwall, Newtown Motors in Cwmbran and Nissan Leicester – invited along the athletes they are supporting through the Nissan Dealer Athlete Programme in the build-up to the Rio 2016 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
Double world champion para-triathlete Melissa Reid appeared in Cornwall, while fellow double world champion track cyclist Becky James was at Newtown Motors and Paralympic long jumper and London 2012 silver medallist Stef Reid was at Nissan Leicester.
All three took time to out of their busy schedules to visit the dealership, view the new Pulsar for themselves, sign autographs and pose for pictures.
Becky also travelled in the new C-segment hatchback to the Wales National Velodrome in nearby Newport where she chatted with fans.
