A MOTHER of two from Basingstoke who won more than £30,000 worth of goodies on the prime time TV show Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway has collected her star prize…a new Nissan Note.
Emma Hunt, a school admin officer from Brighton Hill, collected the keys to her stunning new car, worth more than £10,000, from local dealer West Way Nissan on the Houndmills Motor Park.
Her amazing haul of winnings also included a holiday in Majorca, a TV bed, two sofas and a leather recliner, a 50-inch TV, an Xbox games console and £1,000 cash.
She was selected to appear on the show after sending in a cringe worthy story about the time she first met the singer Robbie Williams. She then correctly answered a series of questions to win an array of prizes before gambling for more.
Collecting her new car with husband Scott and son Liam, 13, a delighted Emma, said: “I was absolutely gobsmacked that I was even picked and also that I gambled and won.”
She added: “I’m absolutely over the moon. I’ve never had a brand new car and being able to choose the colour is fantastic.”
