Emergency service chooses Nissan

December 24, 2011
Home Nissan GB News

AN emergency service has chosen Nissan vehicles as their wheels of choice for life-saving duties.

Highlands and Islands Airports have chosen the Navara, Pathfinder, and X-Trail as their new fire support vehicles.

Along with the vehicles’ go-anywhere attributes, comfort and performance were high on the list of priorities – and the Nissans scored highly in these areas.

The emergency service chose Nissan dealer Dicksons of Inverness to fulfil the order. Ross MacKenzie, the dealership’s sales manager, said: ‘These vehicles are going out to airports in all corners of the Highlands and we have offered them a fast response back-up service with complete support for any problems or issues that may arise.

‘The total order is for five Navaras and three Pathfinder commercials and one X-Trail. It is fantastic they kept the business local, and we are proud to be of service.’
