EAST Sussex-based Nissan dealer, Motorline Tunbridge Wells, has handed the keys over to their first LEAF customer.
Rosie English received the car at a special event at the dealership, after placing her order in January.
‘With petrol prices soaring by the day and the environmental impact of owning a car a personal concern, I have wanted to own an electric vehicle for some time and was thrilled when I heard of the Nissan LEAF,’ said English.
‘It is wonderful to receive my vehicle and to know that I am the first in the area to get to drive one.’
Robert Taylor, General Manager at Motorline Tunbridge Wells Nissan, said: ‘The LEAF further realises Nissan’s position as an innovative, futuristic, thoughtful car manufacturer and will be a great addition to the range we currently have on offer.
