NISSAN’S star duo – the new Note and Micra – have made sensational debuts in dealerships across the country.
The much-anticipated pair are on a whistlestop tour of the dealer network as part of the VIP preview promotion.
And each appearance – the first chance many dealership staff and customers have had a chance to see the newcomers in the metal – has earned rave reviews.
What’s more, the events – which will roll out across the country in August – have generated impressive sales, with dozens of orders placed.
Laura Burroughs, a member of Nissan’s events team, said: ‘Dealers have really been getting behind the preview events and, as a result, they’ve been really successful.’
That was backed up by Chris Bland, Business Manager at Glyn Hopkin Nissan in St Albans, where the preview event was attended by more than 100 potential customers.
Chris said: ‘Our event was a great success and was attended by loads of people which was fantastic. We were busy throughout.
‘On the day we sold three Micra and one note and generated a significant number of positive leads so we were really pleased.’
The events have also been well received by customers excited to be among the first to see the new cars.
Les Upham, a customer who attended the preview event at West Way Nissan in Oxford, said: ‘I’ve been really impressed by the car and the event.
‘We drive the previous Note and love it, but you can see and feel instantly the improvements that have been made with the new model. Based on this, I see no reason to look elsewhere when the time comes for us to replace our current car.’
