NISSAN and DC Shoes are proud to announce the beginning of a partnership as both brands look to recruit new fans through the creation of innovative co-branded content.
To initiate the collaboration, they have created a video clip entitled “The Headlight Sessions”, which consists of original night-session footage captured like no other, giving an insight into the world of some of the best street skaters on the planet.
2014 Thrasher Skater of the Year Wes Kremer, Matt Miller, Madars Apse, Joseph Scott, Anthony Lopez and the new Juke NISMO RS hit the streets of Barcelona to shine a light on some of Europe’s most iconic skate spots – using one of the car’s trademark features – giving the skaters licence to perform their full range of skills.
The clip, produced by Nissan, was directed by DC’s highly regarded skateboard filmmaker Chris Ray, who said: “It’s an exceptional video, we couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome. It’s the best combination of pure skate action I’ve seen mixed with outside influences. We’ve pulled off something that seems to be impossible for everyone else in the non-skate world.”

“Combining the core urban roots of Juke NISMO RS and the skaters has created a compelling video and showcases the car’s dynamic, sporty crossover design DNA and enhanced engine power in a powerful way.”
