THE family-run dealer group Yeomans has invested in a fourth Nissan dealership as they strengthen their presence on the south coast.
The company has acquired WKB Nissan in Elettra Avenue, Waterlooville, which will complement its three other dealerships in Worthing, Eastbourne and Bognor Regis.
Now known as Yeomans Nissan Portsmouth, its newest 12-car showroom can also display in excess of 60 pre-owned CARED4 vehicles on its outside forecourt.
For servicing needs, it has a five-bay workshop with the latest diagnostic equipment that is staffed by a team of manufacturer-trained technicians.
The new man at the helm is dealer principal Terry Hancock, who spent more than 12 years in the same role with the West Way Group, having overseen the Aldershot, Basingstoke and Southampton showrooms.
He brings with him 30 years of experience in the motor industry and is confident the dealership can move forward under the Yeomans name and signal its intent as a leading Nissan dealer in the region.
But despite the slight changes going on at the dealership, long-serving customers will still be served by the same friendly faces as all 35 members of staff have been transferred across.
Terry said: “I am delighted to be joining Yeomans at what is such an exciting time for the business, and determined to help deliver the company’s core values on providing an excellent customer experience.
“I really believe in the Nissan brand and I’ve got a really knowledgeable and enthusiastic team who will do everything they can for Nissan customers in the area. They want to make both the sales and aftersales experience the very best it can be.”
Yeomans operates 18 dealerships representing six brands across Devon, East and West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire, and has built up a strong reputation focused on outstanding customer service.
