NISSAN will be rolling out Micra DIG-S training for the dealer network in August so that dealers are as clued-up as possible on the ground-breaking new version of the Nissan supermini.

The new Micra DIG-S comes to the sector boasting the world’s first production supercharged, three–cylinder, direct injection engine – read more here – and the car is being given the biggest launch of the year, backed by a heavyweight marketing campaign.

Training venues…

Nissan realises the Micra DIG-S’s key to success is with its dealer network – so Nissan has laid on numerous dates and venues for Micra DIG-S training so dealers’ sales managers and sales consultants are able to attend.

11 regional venues will be on offer throughout August, ensuring time out of the dealership is minimised. All training sessions will commence at 10.00 and finish at 15.30 with the following dates and venues available to book via LMS now:

• Hall Garth Hotel, Darlington, DL1 3LU – August 16-18
• Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool, L9 5AS – August 16-18

The benefits…

• Not only will dealers be trained-up 100 per cent on the Micra DIG-S, but refresher training on PIXO and NOTE will also take place
• Every sales manager and sales consultant that has activated their N-GAGE account by July 31, 2011 and attends the training will receive a credit of 20 points to their N-GAGE account.
• For sales consultants that have a City Car training requirement identified as a result of their TNA, the Micra DIG-S training will count as completion of this.

How to book…

• Log in to LMS and click on ‘Book or Cancel Sessions’
• Click ‘New Micra DIG-S Training’ under New Model Launch Training
• Click on the name of the person you wish to book
• Click ‘View Available Sessions” next to ‘New Micra DIG-S Training’
• Select the session you wish to book
• Click on ‘Submit’
