WHAT CAR? has named the Nissan Qashqai the best used SUV in its Used Car of the Year awards for 2012.
Judges praised its spacious and classy cabin, comfortable ride and commanding view.
The What Car? Used Car of the Year judging panel were from all areas of the motor industry, including Fords of Winsford car supermarket, Warranty Direct and CDL Ltd, plus experts from What Car?
As well as selecting the Used SUV of the Year, the judges picked winners and runners-up in nine categories, looking at running costs, reliability, driveability, quality, longevity, safety features and desirability.
The overall winner was the Ford Fiesta. Qashqai won that title last year.
Qashqai, described as the ultimate urban-proof crossover, is about to get even more desirable. The range is set to be enhanced in the first quarter of 2013 by the new Qashqai 360, packed with innovative features that reflect Nissan’s passion for bringing premium technology to an ever broader audience.
The new model builds on the considerable strengths of the current range, which has seen more than 1.3million units produced to date.
