WEST LONDON Motor Group is donating £50 for every car sold today to Comic Relief.
WLMG Nissan made the Red Nose Day pledge as part of a series of entertaining ‘fun raisers’ taking place at its showroom today.
And as the dealership group can boast two of the UK’s bestselling cars – the multi award-winning Qashqai and Juke crossovers – the team is hoping the charity will be laughing all the way to the bank.
A WLMG spokesman said: ‘Comic Relief’s a great British institution and we wanted to join the fun and play our part in raising money to support the wonderful work it does around the world.
‘We’ve all been getting into the spirit of things by paying to dress stupidly and various team members have been taking part in all manner of sponsored activities.
‘But, as a car retailer, the best thing we can do to make a real contribution is to make this donation for every car we sell on the day.’
WLMG Nissan will make a £50 donation to Comic Relief for every new and used car it sells at its seven Nissan dealerships across London and the Home Counties in locations such as Shepperton, Mill Hill and Ruislip.
The donation also applies to quality assured pre-owned Nissan models sold through the carmaker’s CARED4 used car programme.
