A RUGBY club is motoring ahead with a new three-year sponsorship deal from Alex F Noble Nissan, the family-run car dealership which this year celebrates its eightieth anniversary.
This will be the fifth year in a row that the dealership, based in Straiton, Lothian, will be main sponsor of Lasswade RFC, but the first time the deal has extended beyond one year.
The sponsorship sees Nobles providing a new, fully insured and maintained Nissan Qashqai vehicle for exclusive use by club personnel, in return for shirt sponsorship as well as match programme advertising and pitchside signage opportunities.
Ian Barr, the President of Lasswade RFC, who play in Scottish Premier Division 3, said: ‘The new Qashqai will assist us in all our development roles as well as greatly reducing our costs.
‘Alex F Noble have been very generous to the club over the last few years through their sponsorship and the dealer principal, David Noble, has been a great friend and supporter for many years.’
David Noble said: ‘Lasswade RFC is an enthusiastic and highly ambitious club with great facilities, excellent support and a progressive management team.
‘I’m very happy that Alex F Noble & Son will be main sponsor for at least the next three years and wish the team continued success.’
