The Paul Willcox Blog: April 19, 2011

April 19, 2011
Home Blog

News reached me this week that Nissan had performed extremely well in this year’s Auto Express Driver Power Awards.

The survey means a huge amount because it’s voted for by those that really count – our car-buying customers.

We narrowly missed out on a place in the top 10, securing 11th spot – but what really impressed is the fact we’ve improved so much. In last year’s survey we finished just 25th, so leap-frogging so far up the table is a huge achievement.

The survey asks owners about every aspect of their car ownership and that includes the experience they received at your dealerships. Our improvement is in no small part down to the hard work our network has put in.

CARS

There was good news on the product front too. Qashqai was fifth in the top 100 cars moving up from 56th last year. Note finished 32nd – again an improvement on last year, when it finished 59th.

Auto Express – one of Britain’s most popular weekly car magazines – acknowledged that we had made the biggest improvement overall of any manufacturer in the Driver Power 2011 survey.

It’s great to see that derivers rate our products and brand as highly as we do – here’s to a top 10 place next year.
