With those simple words, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. President and CEO Carlos Ghosn joined New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg for the official world debut of the innovative Nissan NV200 ‘Taxi of Tomorrow’.
After years of planning, a two-year highly competitive bid selection process, and countless hours of engineering and development, the NV200 Taxi prototype was ready to meet its future drivers and riders.
After the special ceremony, it was put on display at the Nissan booth during the 10-day auto show at Manhattan’s Jacob Javits Center, which ended on Sunday.
In the attached video, Nissan’s Mike Hobson, director, Light Commercial Vehicles and Fleet, invited Nissan’s media centre to film an up-close walk-around of the vehicle and its unprecedented levels of comfort and innovation.
