A CAR dealership in Bristol will be sponsoring a hot air balloon company in the city for the second year running and has provided it with a Nissan NP300 Navara.
Wessex Garages will loan the car to Bristol Balloons to use to pick up pilots and passengers after their flights starting with The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, which takes place on August 11 until 14.
Andy Provis, Group Fleet/Business Centre Manager at Wessex Garages on Pennywell Road, said: “The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is a fantastic, fun-filled festival for the family and we’re delighted we are able to once again sponsor Bristol Balloons, which is taking part in the event.
“As part of our sponsorship the company will have the Nissan NP300 Navara for a year. The vehicle will be used during the balloon fiesta before and after flights and continue to be used this way after the festival for general balloon flights.”
Bristol Balloons is based on Winterstoke Road, Ashton in Bristol and organises hot air balloon flights from the Ashton Court estate and the surrounding areas.

The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is now in its 38th year and is Europe’s largest ballooning event. The fiesta attracts more than 100 hot air balloons with 500,000 members of the public attending over the four days.
