NISSAN has announced European sales of 54,612 units for December – an increase of 8.5 per cent compared to the same month in 2012, and representing a market share of four per cent.
The best-selling models for the month were leading crossovers Qashqai and Juke. Russia and the UK remained the leading European markets.
In Russia, 17,540 units were sold with the remainder of the top five markets as follows: UK (7,550); France (6,093); Germany (4,508); and Spain (3,525).
As we’ve said, Qashqai and Juke were the top performers across Europe in December with 19,768 and 10,211 units sold respectively.
Looking at 2013 as a whole, the same picture emerges. In Russia, the biggest market, 146,319 units were sold, and in the UK, the second-biggest, the figure was 127,752.
The top-selling models, Qashqai and Juke, sold 247,969 units and 135,625 units respectively.
