New website for branded merchandise

May 29, 2012

NISSAN dealers can now get hold of branded merchandise quickly and easily following the launch of a new-look website.

The site has a new easy-to-navigate design and layout, and features a wide range of Nissan-branded products as well as items that can be badged with individual dealerships’ artwork and logos.

It has been up and running for a couple of weeks now and is already being put to good use.

Daniel Chapman, aftersales marketing co-ordinator, told Nissan Insider: ‘It replaced an older version of the site and allows dealers to order merchandise or customer incentives for their dealerships. The new website makes it easier for them to buy products and to place orders.

‘The site offers a range of clothing and there are different accessories such as watches and wallets. Then there’s the range of GT-R merchandise and we also offer golf equipment, plus products such as iPhone and iPad cases.

‘This merchandise carries Nissan / GT-R branding but there is a section where individual dealerships can order less expensive products that can be given away – bottles of water, pens, ice scrapers, key rings – five or six items that they can personalise with their contact details.

‘They’re the sort of products that can be used as giveaways when the customer has their car serviced, for example.’

Chapman said the site was already being well used, with many orders having been placed, and that the next stage would involve Nissan dealers being asked for their views about it.

Easier and quicker

‘We need to speak to dealers and get some feedback about how they are finding the website but the products do seem to be selling quite well,’ he told us.

‘The website it replaced was rather basic and a couple of years old. We have added more products to the range and technology has advanced so it’s now easier and quicker for dealers to obtain the merchandise they are interested in.’

The new website can be found here.
