NISSAN has announced European retail sales for June of 71,974 units (Nissan and Datsun), representing a market share of 4.1%.
June highlights:
- UK sales in June totalled 16,697 units with a market share of 5.7%.
- Nissan in Spain increased June sales by 65% vs previous year, with 5,793 units sold.
- Sales in Germany totalled 6,579 units with a market share of 2%.
- Nissan in Italy raised its market share in June to 3.5%, up 0.2% compared to the same period last year selling 5,422 units.
- Datsun sales in Russia totalled 3,244 units.
Half year sales confirm Nissan’s position as the market leader in the pure electric car sector, with total UK sales of the all-electric Nissan LEAF over 10,000 units since launch (10,160).
