A NORTH Norfolk dealership has rewarded its employees’ hard work by treating them to an action-packed away day.
Crayford and Abbs Ltd, in Gypsies Lane, Holt, promised its staff they would go on a big adventure if they hit their targets during the first quarter of this year.
They did, so Company Director Kevin Abbs took them all to Hilltop Outdoor Centre in nearby Sheringham for a day of climbing, archery, zip-sliding and other team-building challenges.
The biggest attraction was the ‘Air Jump’, a 52ft tower with various height platforms for people to leap off into a giant air bag.
Kevin said: “We set the staff a goal and they achieved it so we wanted to give them a special treat to remember.
“We had a fabulous day – the whole team thoroughly enjoyed it. We wanted to say thank you to the staff and this proved to be a real hit. There was something to cater for everyone.”
Kevin urged other Nissan dealers to consider taking staff on an away day, as he says it can improve morale.
“It turned into a team-building exercise without it really meaning to be one,’ he said.
“I would recommend other dealers do this as a staff reward or just to have some fun.”
