A SALISBURY car salesman is celebrating clocking up 40 years in the business.
John Jupp, 58, a Sales Consultant at Westover Nissan in Churchfields Industrial Estate, said the secret to his successful career is offering people “good old fashioned customer service”.
Before moving to Westover Nissan Salisbury nine years ago, John worked at its sister dealership in Bournemouth for six years. It means he has spent more than a third of his career selling Nissan cars.
John said: “It’s the simple things that matter to me. It’s providing customers with cups of tea and coffee when they’re looking around the showroom.
“I pride myself on delivering good old fashioned customer service – it sets you apart from the rest.
“People who come in here are not just a number, not just an extra sale. It’s going that extra mile for customers.”
