LEADING East Midlands vehicle retailer Sandicliffe has now opened what is believed to be Europe’s largest Nissan dealership in Nottingham.

The stunning new outlet on Abbeyfield Road, just off the A52 and adjacent to the Riverside Retail Park and the Showcase cinema, immediately became Nissan’s UK flagship when the doors officially opened on Saturday, September 20.

Incorporating an impressive four-storey display tower, the purpose-built dealership boasts a huge 2,255 sq m showroom – big enough to display 25 vehicles – and sits on a massive 6,573 sq m site with display space for scores of quality-approved used Nissan models and a range of other makes.

The dealership also features a high-tech eight-bay workshop with separate MoT ramp and dedicated high-performance area fitted with the specialist state-of-the-art equipment needed to service the awesome Nissan GT-R supercar. There’s also a rapid charger for use by drivers of the 100% electric Nissan LEAF and e-NV200 van.

More than a dozen new jobs have been created through the impressive development.

Reg Tutt, managing director of Sandicliffe, the East Midlands new and used car and commercial vehicle experts, said: “The opening of this exceptional new dealership represents a major milestone for both the Sandicliffe group and for Nissan in the UK.

“We are totally committed to delivering the highest possible standards to all our customers and we don’t settle for second best. This is why we’ve invested a lot of time and money to make this the very best Nissan dealership there is.”

He added: “This investment clearly demonstrates the confidence we have in the Nissan brand moving forward, and the importance we place on our long-standing and developing relationship with the manufacturer.”
